Branching Out | Original Stag Acrylic Painting

Branching Out is an original acrylic painting that brings together wildlife, woodland and a touch of surrealism. Instead of traditional antlers, trees stretch upwards from the stag's head, blurring the line between the animal and the landscape he belongs to.

I love the idea that nature isn't just something surrounding us, but something we're part of. The stag isn't standing in the forest, he's carrying it with him. There's something beautiful about that, even if he would have a terrible time getting through a doorway.

This one-of-a-kind wildlife painting is ideal for anyone who loves woodland animals, nature-inspired artwork and slightly unusual contemporary art. It's a piece that feels familiar at first glance, until you realise something isn't quite as expected.
