Clove at First Sight | Garlic Kitchen Print

If a recipe says two cloves, I'm adding six, and I don't particularly want to hear any complaints about it.

Clove at First Sight is my funny garlic kitchen print, featuring an original hand-painted acrylic illustration with a little food pun that I'm rather pleased with. Garlic might not be the most romantic thing in the world, especially when you've eaten half a loaf of garlic bread, but I think it deserves some love.

I created this print at Kauter Studios as part of my collection of colourful food art, taking ordinary kitchen ingredients and giving them a bit more personality. I love the delicate shapes and subtle colours of garlic, and there's something quite satisfying about turning a humble bulb into a piece of contemporary kitchen wall art.

It's perfect for home cooks, garlic lovers and anyone who appreciates funny kitchen prints without wanting something rude on every wall. It would look lovely in a kitchen, dining room or alongside other fruit and vegetable illustrations as part of a colourful gallery wall.

It also makes a rather sweet little gift for someone who loves cooking. Particularly if their idea of romance involves pasta, garlic bread and absolutely no plans to go out afterwards.
