Nice Nuts | Original Squirrel Acrylic Painting on Canvas

Meet Nice Nuts, a cheeky little squirrel who appreciates the finer things in life. Particularly a good pair of nuts.

Part of my Furlesque Collection at Kauter Studios, this rather flirtatious squirrel has swapped the usual woodland innocence for a bit of vintage pin-up glamour. She's got attitude, confidence and a name that's almost guaranteed to make someone snigger. (Because we're all still twelve years old when it comes to a decent double entendre.)

Hand-painted in acrylic on canvas, Nice Nuts features a playful squirrel against a richly mottled navy and royal blue background. The bold colours, expressive character and vintage-inspired styling give this original animal painting a contemporary feel, with just enough mischief to stop it becoming another perfectly respectable woodland picture.

I created Nice Nuts for people who appreciate colourful contemporary art, quirky animal paintings and humour that's a little bit inappropriate without being completely outrageous. She's the sort of artwork that looks lovely on your wall, right up until someone asks what it's called.

Whether you're a squirrel lover, a collector of unusual animal art or simply looking for something a bit different for your home, Nice Nuts is full of personality.

This is a completely original acrylic painting, created and signed by me. There's only one, so once she's gone, she's gone.
