Octopussy | Original Octopus Acrylic Painting on Canvas

SOLD OUT: ORIGINAL PAINTING

Octopussy has officially found her forever home! This one-of-a-kind original acrylic painting has now sold, but don't worry, fine art prints are still available in a range of sizes, so you can still get your tentacles on her.

Meet Octopussy, an outrageously glamorous octopus with eight arms, an impressive amount of confidence and absolutely no intention of keeping them to herself.

Part of my Furlesque Collection at Kauter Studios, Octopussy brings a cheeky twist to traditional animal art. Inspired by vintage pin-up glamour, she's playful, a little provocative and certainly not your average piece of seaside wall art. With eight arms at her disposal, she's probably capable of causing more trouble than the rest of the collection combined.

Hand-painted in acrylic on canvas, this original octopus painting features bold colours against a richly mottled navy and royal blue background. The striking contrast and stylised details give the artwork a contemporary feel, while the playful character makes it impossible to take too seriously.

I created Octopussy for people who appreciate colourful contemporary art, unusual animal paintings and humour that's just a little bit inappropriate. She's the sort of artwork that gets noticed, gets people talking and occasionally gets a raised eyebrow.

Although this original painting has sold, she remains part of my Furlesque Collection, and you can still enjoy her in print form.
