The Big Cheese | Funny Cheese Kitchen Print

Some cheeses are subtle and understated. Others practically demand to be the centre of attention. Personally, I think a decent cheeseboard deserves a bit of recognition. Forget being the most important person in the room, I'd much rather be the person responsible for bringing the cheese.

The Big Cheese is my funny cheese kitchen print, featuring an original hand-painted acrylic illustration of three different cheeses with a playful caption. It's a simple little food pun, but sometimes the best jokes are the ones that don't need much explaining.

I created this print at Kauter Studios as part of my collection of colourful food art, taking everyday ingredients and turning them into kitchen wall art with a bit of personality. The creamy textures of brie, rich colours of cheddar and distinctive markings of blue cheese make a surprisingly lovely combination. And I rather like the idea of giving a few bits of cheese such an important-sounding title.

This funny cheese wall art would look lovely in a kitchen, dining room or alongside other colourful food prints. It's perfect for cheese lovers, enthusiastic home cooks and anyone who likes quirky kitchen decor that doesn't take itself too seriously. It also makes a brilliant gift for the person who considers themselves the big cheese in the household, although whether everyone else agrees is another matter.
