Too Mature for This Shit | Rude Cheese Kitchen Print

Apparently, getting older is supposed to make you wiser, calmer and generally more tolerant of life's little annoyances. Personally, I think it just means you've spent enough years dealing with nonsense to know when you can't be bothered anymore. Much like a decent mature cheddar, you've developed a bit of character, a stronger personality and considerably less patience.

Too Mature for This Shit is my rude cheese kitchen print, featuring an original hand-painted acrylic illustration of three different cheeses with a sarcastic little caption that works on more than one level. Because what's the point of having a perfectly good cheese pun if you can't use it to complain about people?

I created this print at Kauter Studios as part of my collection of colourful food art with rude, funny and occasionally sweary captions. I particularly like this one because it sums up that wonderful stage of life when you stop pretending to enjoy things you don't, start saying no without inventing elaborate excuses and realise that staying home with a cheeseboard is actually a very respectable way to spend a Saturday night.

This rude kitchen wall art is perfect for cheese lovers, sarcastic souls and anyone who's reached the point where their tolerance for bullshit is considerably lower than it used to be. It would look lovely in a kitchen, dining room or alongside other colourful food prints. It also makes a brilliant gift for a friend who's getting older, getting wiser and getting increasingly fed up with everyone.

After all, some things improve with age. Patience, unfortunately, isn't always one of them.
