Hello Pumpkin | Pumpkin Kitchen Print

There's something rather lovely about pumpkins. They're round, bright orange, a little bit wonky and somehow manage to look cheerful without making any effort whatsoever. I think they deserve a bit more recognition beyond being carved up once a year and abandoned on the doorstep.

Hello Pumpkin is my hand-painted pumpkin kitchen print, featuring an original acrylic illustration with a sweet, playful little caption. It's a much friendlier member of my food art collection, proving that I can occasionally create something without swearing at it.

I created this print at Kauter Studios because I love taking everyday food and turning it into colourful artwork. The warm orange tones and natural shapes of the pumpkin make it particularly lovely to paint, and I think there's something quite charming about having a little pumpkin greeting you from the kitchen wall.

It's perfect for anyone who loves colourful kitchen decor, autumn-inspired wall art or cheerful food illustrations. Although pumpkins are usually associated with October, there's absolutely no reason this one can't stay up all year. It's also a lovely little gift for someone you affectionately call pumpkin, which is considerably nicer than some of the things people call each other.

And unlike a real pumpkin, this one won't slowly collapse into a mouldy puddle on your doorstep.
